ROCKLEDGE, FL — March 19, 2019 — Mainstream Engineering Corporation has been awarded a contract from the Defense Threat Reduction Agency for Development of a High Efficiency Concentrator for Sub-micron Particles.
Radionuclide particulate detection systems are used in monitoring nuclear detonations. An effective submicron concentrator must have unique features to effectively collect these ultrafine particulates. Such a concentrator is not commercially available and therefore Mainstream has been tasked with this development.
