ROCKLEDGE, FL — February 2, 2019 — Mainstream Engineering Corporation, a 32-year-old Brevard County manufacturer with a history of leading-edge research and development that has resulted in advanced, lean-manufacturing, cost-competitive products, which are all Made in the USA, has been awarded a contract from the US Navy for testing and evaluation of their Compact, Low Loss, Broadband Power Inductors for Navy Sonar Applications.
Mainstream has developed compact high-power tuning inductors that exhibit stable properties over a wide frequency range, operate under high voltage conditions, and have input power levels of several hundred watts. This program will complete testing necessary to qualify these inductors as production ready military grade inductors.
