ROCKLEDGE, FL — February 2, 2019 — Mainstream Engineering Corporation, a 32-year-old Brevard County manufacturer with a history of leading-edge research and development that has resulted in advanced, lean-manufacturing, cost-competitive products, which are all Made in the USA, has been awarded a contract from the US Navy for testing and evaluation of their Compact, Low Loss, Broadband Power Inductors for Navy Sonar Applications.

Mainstream has developed compact high-power tuning inductors that exhibit stable properties over a wide frequency range, operate under high voltage conditions, and have input power levels of several hundred watts. This program will complete the testing necessary to qualify these inductors as production-ready military-grade inductors.
