Non-Flammable, Alcohol-Free, Non-Toxic Heat Transfer Fluids

QTherm™ heat transfer fluids were developed by Mainstream to address NASA's need for a non-toxic, non-flammable, low temperature, and low freezing expansion replacement for water in secondary cooling loops. These fluids were engineered and optimized on various metrics including toxicity, heat transfer and thermal properties, freezing point, corrosivity, and freezing volume expansion. All fluids are water-based with no volatile organics. These fluids can also meet the ISS Alcohol Ban (ISS CR 5144 REV. B).
