Software Engineer
This excellent opportunity is for a full-time position at Mainstream Engineering Corp. in Rockledge, FL. Due to the tremendous growth of our web-based products and services, we have created this new position to enhance the usability and functionality of existing sites and to develop new products. Applicants must be able to work independently and as a member of a small team. You will have the opportunity to work on numerous projects throughout the course of a year, so you must be able to work fast and keep up with a fast-paced environment.

Mainstream began as a research and development company dedicated to solving NASA and DOD problems. Today, we perform R&D projects for virtually all agencies of the U.S. government, and our products are sold in commercial, government, and military markets.
Primary Responsibilities:- Work with marketing and graphics departments to identify and implement new concepts to promote products and increase sales.
- Design, develop and provide technical documentation for web applications and the management, fulfillment, and reporting back-end processes.
- Determine the best use of web frameworks, web services, and other libraries to integrate and streamline data and workflow. New systems should be primarily based on the Spring 3 framework, JPA, and MySQL.
- Develop and integrate internal/external software systems to streamline data and work flow
- B.S. in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Related Field
- 3.3+ GPA
- US Citizenship Required
- Must be proficient in Java or C++ (2+ years)
- HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and SQL
- Linux, Unix, or Solaris
