Essential Contribution and Competencies
Mainstream Engineering is looking for Electrical Engineers with a strong background in any of the following areas: power conversion, power generation, electro-mechanical systems, and electronic controls. We have an immediate need for engineers to develop military and commercial products as well as perform government sponsored research and development.
Specific Duties and Competencies :
Power engineers will develop electrical power generators up to 100 kW. Engineers will design, prototype, test, and evaluate permanent magnet alternators and motors to convert mechanical energy to electrical energy and vice versa. Engineers will design, layout, fabricate, and test power converters to control and regulate power from these devices.
