Materials Engineer
We are currently seeking candidates to conduct research in materials selection and troubleshooting for our military and commercial products. Research ranges from metal foams to battery/ultra capacitor electrodes, fuel cell materials, functional coatings, and hydrogen separation, storage and distribution. The ideal candidate will possess:
- Strong fundamentals in materials science and chemistry that allow him/her to understand and adapt to a variety of projects.
- Capability of operating independently in the lab and managing time between projects.
- Interest in one or more of the following topics: lightweight materials; nanomaterials; fuel cell and electrochemical cell materials; corrosion; membranes; catalysis.
Minimum Requirements:
- B.S. is required; M.S. desired; PhD optional.
- Due to US government ITAR restrictions, US Citizenship is required
- B.S. degree in Materials Engineering or Chemical Engineering w/materials specialization
