Mainstream is seeking candidates to conduct research in materials selection and troubleshooting for our military and commercial products. B.S. is required; M.S. desired; PhD optional.
Research ranges from metal foams to battery/ultra capacitor electrodes, fuel cell materials, functional coatings, and hydrogen separation, storage and distribution. The ideal candidate will have strong fundamentals in materials science and chemistry that allow him/her to understand and adapt to a variety of projects. He/She will be capable of operating independently in the lab and managing time between projects. Interest in one or more of the following topics is beneficial: lightweight materials; nanomaterials; fuel cell and electrochemical cell materials; corrosion; membranes; catalysis.

Minimum Requirements:
- US Citizen
- B.S. degree in Materials Engineering
- GPA > 3.3
- Willing to relocate to Rockledge, FL area
Additional Requirements:
- Must be interested in R&D environment
- Must be capable and interested in working in a hands-on laboratory setting
- No Ds or Fs on transcripts
