IT Help Desk Technician
This opportunity is for an IT help desk support position at Mainstream Engineering Corp in Rockledge, FL. Applicants must be self-motivated and able to work independently. As a member of the Computer and Information Systems group, the support role will be providing desktop end user assistance and working on special projects. Project work includes troubleshooting existing network infrastructure and software applications and evaluating new hardware and software solutions to support continued company growth.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assist with daily desktop support issues
- Respond to security threats and implement new security measures
- Manage network performance
- Install/maintain/support software including but not limited to MS Windows, Office, and numerous engineering software packages
- Provide end user support

- Excellent Communication and Organization Skills
- US Citizenship Required
Preferred Education and Experience:
- A.S. or B.S. in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Related Field
- 5+ Years of Experience in Related Field
- Cisco certification
- Windows Server / Active Directory / Linux / TCP/IP
