Chemical Engineers - Positions for all degree levels
Mainstream Engineering Corporation (MEC) is looking for talented, hands-on chemical engineers to take a lead research role on a variety of innovative projects involving such topics as: biofuel production, biofuel upgrading, hydrogen storage, waste heat utilization, photovoltaics, and thermoelectrics. MEC is interested in applicants at all degree levels with specific experience in, but not limited to, any of the following areas:
- Design of bench-scale and pilot-scale reactor systems
- Chemical discovery using cheminformatics
- Materials fabrication using methods such as electrochemical techniques, colloidal self-assembly, layer-by-layer deposition and chemical synthesis
- Materials characterization techniques using microscopy and spectroscopy
- Chemical characterization techniques such as gas chromatography and spectroscopy
- Hands-on experience in a chemical laboratory setting including instrumentation and wet-lab experience
- Mechanical experience; as would be used in the conception, design and fabrication of custom laboratory apparatus
- Other areas include LabView programming, electronic systems assembly, experimental design, and instrumentation
- We are looking for problem solvers who identify innovative solutions to real world problems; applicants must be self-motivated and able to work independently as well as in groups

Minimum Requirements:
- B.S. in Chemical Engineering (M.S. or Ph. D. preferred)
- U.S. Citizen
- GPA > 3.3 at all degree levels
- Willing to relocate to Rockledge, FL area
