Aerodynamic Engineer
Description
Mainstream has an immediate opening for an engineer with experience in designing and overseeing fabrication and testing of aerodynamic components and systems. Typical products include avionics pods and turbomachines for the military. Responsibilities include the design and numerical modeling of aerodynamic ducts, turbine blades, other turbomachinery components. A solid understanding of aerodynamic interactions and boundary layer effects between bluff bodies and turbomachinery passages is desired.
Responsibilities Include:
- CFD modeling experience (Fluent preferred)
- Design of aerodynamic structures

Minimum Requirements:
- US Citizen
- B.S. degree in ME or AE
- GPA > 3.3
- Willing to relocate to Rockledge, FL area
Additional Requirements:
- Must be interested in R&D environment
- Must be capable and interested in working in a hands-on laboratory setting
- No Ds or Fs on transcripts
